As we previously reported, artists from Korean label JYP Entertainment will be holding a special concert in Japan titled “JYP Nation in Japan 2011“, but a new surprise has been revealed for Japanese fans!
At the concert, boy bands 2AM and 2PM will perform together as One Day. For those who are unfamiliar with the two groups, the members trained to become part of a group called One Day before three trainees were eliminated, and the remaining members separated into 2AM and 2PM. The group has reunited multiple times for live performances, but this marks the first time that One Day has performed in Japan.
Since 2PM recently made their Japanese debut with the single “Take off“, the boys have prepared a ten-song set list for their fans. When asked about the upcoming concert, 2PM said confidently, “We’ll do our best so that we can show many new performances at ‘JYP Nation in Japan’!”
Other artists attending the event include Rain, J.Y. Park, Wonder Girls, Lim Jeong Hee, Joo, miss A, and San E. “It’s our first meeting with our Japanese fans,” said J.Y. Park, the head of the label and artist in his own right. “We’ll show them the best music, dances, and stages.”
