JYJ’s Jaejoong transforms into a vampire

JYJ member Jaejoong‘s vampire-like selca photo is becoming quite the sensation online.

On January 2nd, the singer shared the photo above via his official Twitter page and wrote, “I am a cold-hearted, paler than pale man.” Jaejoong who normally boasts milky skin looked paler than ever, as his face was hit with the flash of his camera. His ghostly skin and his dark eye makeup gave him the appearance of a real vampire.

The singer was previously compared to actor Robert Pattinson in an Italian magazine, and his selca photo looked like something out of scene of the movie ‘Twilight‘.

Netizens who saw the photo remarked, “It’s a real vampire“, “Oh my! Your milky face turned ghostly“, “You and Robert Pattinson are really similar“, and “Gasp! You scared me“.

JYJ’s Jaejoong sustains an eye injury

JYJ‘s Jaejoong shocked his fans with his latest Twitter update.

On December 20th, Jaejoong wrote, “I guess I’m not capable of staying healthy. Everyone, try to stay healthy.”

The singer/actor then attached a photo of himself in bed with an bandage on his eye, causing many to wonder about his accident. Fans commented, “How did this happen??” and “The bandage makes it look so serious. Be well!”

Celebrities wish JYJ’s Junsu a happy 26th birthday

JYJ‘s Kim Junsu recently celebrated his 26th (Korean age) birthday on December 15th, and his Twitter page was flooded with messages from his fellow celebrity colleagues.

Fellow group member Jaejoong tweeted, “Happy Birthday Junsu, love you“, and B2ST‘s Lee Kikwang wrote, “Junsu hyung when can we meet? I’m far away in Dubai right now. Even though I’m really far from you, I want to sincerely wish you a Happy Birthday! I will properly wish you a happy birthday once I get back to Korea!”, while actor Min Young Ki wrote, “Happy Birthday, Junsu! I hope you have the greatest day! Happy Birthday, Xiahtod.”

Additionally, Junsu’s twin brother Kim Junho wrote, “My alter-ego, Junsu! Happy Birthday. It seems like we’ve never spent a birthday together, as we’re both so busy.. I hope that you and your friends in Korea will be able to eat lots of delicious food and enjoy your day.”

Other celebrities such as actor Lee Dong Wook, Kim Sun Ah, Seo Bum Suk, Bae Hae Sun, singer Kim Hyun Joong, comedian Park Sung Kwang, and more also wished him a Happy Birthday with a special video greeting.

Junsu’s followers left comments such as, “Happy Birthday, Junsu oppa“, “I hope you have the greatest day of your life“, and “Have you had your birthday soup?”

JYJ’s Jaejoong introduces Yoochun’s new girlfriend

Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun of JYJ recently had some fun playing in the snow.

Jaejoong shared the above photo via his Twitter on December 7th and wrote, “Snowman boyfriend Yoochun & Snowperson. The two happened to meet by chance.”

In one of the photos, Yoochun is standing next to a snowman that reaches up to his waist in height. He is smiling towards the camera with his hand resting on the snowman’s head.

But Jaejoong shared another photo in which Yoochun got close and a bit more intimate with the snow figure. In it, Yoochun wrapped his arms around the snowman as if he would his girlfriend, evoking laughter from netizens.

His followers who saw the photos left comments such as, “Yoochun oppa’s girl is one cold woman“, “I heard you can only date her for three months a year?”, “Just take me“, “Jaejoong oppa, are you sure you’re not jealous?”, and more.

In related news, JYJ recently completed their Europe Tour and they’re currently working on ‘Mango Tree Project‘ in collaboration with World Vision and ‘Elle‘ to offer aid to children in Sudan, Africa.

JYJ sells out 70,000 special edition copies of ‘In Heaven’

On November 30th, C-JeS Entertainment revealed that JYJ has sold out 70,000 copies of their special edition ‘In Heaven‘ album.

A representative stated, “Back in September, JYJ’s album sold 250,000 copies, even though they were still restricted from broadcast. After releasing their special edition of the album earlier this week, all 70,000 copies have been sold out.”

C-JeS Entertainment stated that this special edition album included remixes of “Get Out” and “Heaven“, which were two of the most popular songs on JYJ’s latest world tour.

JYJ expressed, “We feel that the remix versions are more meaningful because they are all self-composed songs. For those who want an emotional winter at the end of this year, these songs have been revived so that they can be comfortably listened to in a close party setting with friends.”

The remix versions of “Get Out” and “Heaven” were released on December 1st through various music websites such as Melon, Dosirak, Bugs, and Cyworld.

In related news, JYJ recently unveiled a special pictorial through ELLE magazine, aiming to help raise awareness on a charity project for children in Sudan. The group now plans to take a break from working.

JYJ’s Junsu, B2ST’s Doojoon & Yoseob cheer on their friend Park Gun Hyung for ‘Zorro’

JYJ‘s Junsu as well as B2ST‘s Doojoon and Yoseob were snapped visiting musical actor Park Gun Hyung backstage.

Park Gun Hyung is currently starring in the musical ‘Zorro‘, and the three idols decided to visit the theater to congratulate him. The four became good friends, as they’re all members of the celebrity soccer club, ‘FC MEN‘.

Junsu, Doojoon, and Yoseob were said to have enjoyed ‘Zorro’ immensely, as they laughed and clapped all throughout the show. They commented, “It was fun because Park Gun Hyung plays a part that’s similar to himself; we were impressed at how he had to go through dangerous segments because it seems like it required a lot of effort.”

Park Gun Hyung thanked his friends for coming to see his musical despite their busy schedules. ‘Zorro’ is currently playing at Seoul’s Blue Square until January 15th, 2012.

JYJ dominates charts even without publicly performing on TV + to perform on KBS?

Group JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun & Junsu) is conquering the online music charts, proving that their ever-growing fame knows no end.

According to Olleh Music, the major songs from JYJ’s new album, ‘In Heaven‘, has secured the #1, 2, and 3 spots on the social charts for the second week in a row.

Different from the other artists that released new albums around the same time, JYJ hasn’t performed any of their new songs on any music programs on television. Regardless, the album which is scheduled to be released as a physical copy on the 27th has already received 300,000 pre-orders and is already sold out on most major sites. The supply cannot meet the demands of endless orders that are coming in from China, Japan, and the rest of Asia. But the much sought-after boys are nowhere to be seen on television.

JYJ’s agency CJes Entertainment reported, “We haven’t received any calls to perform on any programs. We are keeping a close eye on the situation for now, seeing that their album has not been officially released.”

“In regards to JYJ’s performance regulations, KBS informed us last May that more than once, the court ruled in favor of JYJ being able to perform on stage and that it should be a non-issue.” They continued, “KBS guaranteed that once JYJ’s new album is officially released, they should be able to perform without a stitch. There is talk about outside factors possibly causing some problems, but we trust KBS and we want JYJ to be able to perform before their fans that have been waiting for them.”

JYJ’s main focus this year is not only to be able to perform on stage, but they also have plans to be the first Korean artist to perform in Spain, as well as perform for their fans in Germany and the rest of Europe, not to mention Japan and the rest of Asia. “They’re thinking of various ways for the boys to greet their fans.”

Interestingly enough, JYJ revealed their title track “Get out” through an LG advertisement and the rest of 2011 will be hectic for the boys as they are working on establishing a professional video-based community in order to better communicate with their fans all over the world. They even have plans to start a donation project to help the poor and neglected.

JYJ’s “Get Out” music video about a sad love story has been revealed along with their new single on LG ‘Optimus Q2′ official site just today!

JYJ’s Yoochun fans donate $9,000 to facilities damaged by floods

JYJ’s Yoochun‘s fan community, ‘Blessing Yoochun’ made a big donation to celebrate their 1 year anniversary.

According to JYJ’s company, C-Jes Entertainment, the fan community celebrated their 1 year anniversary by donating about $9,000 USD to study rooms for low income students that have suffered from floods. ‘Blessing Yoochun’ is a fan community made up of mostly women 30 years and older.

‘Blessing Yoochun’ fans have decided to divide the $9,000 between three facilities that have suffered damage from the immense amount of rainfall this summer. They will be donating to the ‘Doongji District Children Center’ which has a third of its facility submerged in water, ‘Kwan Ahk Community Welfare Center’ which has suffered from the collapsing of their ceiling and wall, and ‘Dandelion District Children Center’ which is located in the part of Korea that receive the most amount of rain.

The fan community was formed back in September of last year, and have made several donations to help people in need such a person suffering from severe burns, children with cancer, and to Korean schools in Japan who have suffered from the Tsunami. Within one year, they have contributed about $45,000 in donations.

JYJ’s Jaejoong melts fans with his ‘dark prince’ look

JYJ‘s Jaejoong had fans melting over his latest photo, which showed off his ‘dark look’.

Although he looks as if he’s brooding, Jaejoong’s message was actually full of light. It read, “The end of filming. Let’s be strong for tomorrow. JYJ’s album has also been released. We’ll try our best to improve ourselves.”

Fans commented, “Even when you’re tired, a good pose,” “I know you’re tired, but be strong!”, “I can’t say anything, except you look cool,” and “Your gaze is going to make me faint.”

Jaejoong is currently playing the part of ‘Cha Moo Won’ in the popular drama series, ‘Protect the Boss‘.

JYJ releases “In Heaven”

Anticipation was high for JYJ‘s first Korean album, ‘In Heaven‘, with a preorder of 300,000 albums causing some websites to crash due to capacity limits. As September 15th has hit Korea, the wait is over as the album has officially been released!

A few days back, JYJ revealed their new song, “In Heaven“, and now they’re back with its music video in all its dramatic glory!

The MV sees acting member Junsu and labelmate Song Ji Hyo, who portray a tragic couple. Junsu is a capable executive at a firm, and Song Ji Hyo plays as his sweet girlfriend. After a horrible incident, their romance takes a strange turn through reality that resulted in one conclusion…

JYJ’s Yoochun purchases a $2 million luxury villa with private garden!

JYJ member, Park Yoochun recently became a new resident of the rapidly growing celebrity neighborhood, UN Village located in Hannam.

Back in February, the singer/actor bought a 3,552 square feet luxury villa overlooking the Han river in the area.  The villa also contains a spacious, 1,067 square feet private garden.

It has also been reported that the villa costs around $2 million dollars.  Furthermore, Yoochun has yet to move into his new purchase.  He is currently investing hundreds of thousands of dollars to re-model the interior and has spent a lot of time constructing the garden.

A real estate agent provided further explanation of the residence and stated, ” Not only does the villa have an excellent view of the Han river, but is embedded with a top security system.  The area is perfect for celebrities as it is a very enclosed environment.“  The neighborhood also hosts other famous celebrities including actor Jung Jun Ho and singer Gu Jun Yeop.

A little over a month ago, JYJ’s JaeJoong was also in the news for his $3 million dollar luxury apartment purchase and thus, garnered a lot of interest from the public.  His penthouse which is attached to a terrace was reported to be approximately 3,197 square feet.  JYJ member Junsu also has a luxury residential complex in the same area and is a close neighbor of JaeJoong.

JYJ reveals “Get Out”!

Ahead of JYJ‘s September 15th release of their album, “In Heaven“, the boys have gifted a special treat to their fans with the release of the track, “Get Out“.

This is a wonderful track which was written and composed by Jaejoong and Yoochun. Jaejoong also helped in arranging and producing the track.

Jaejoong’s self written and composed title track, “In Heaven”, will star Junsu in the M/V

Actress Kim Jung Eun took part in JYJ’s first Korean album title song, “In Heaven”.

“In Heaven” is a song written and composed by JYJ’s own Kim Jaejoong, where Kim Jung Eun featured on the track to narrate, “sa rang hae (I love you)”. Although a small part, Kim Jaejoong decided that the short line must contain the right emotion and told his management that it would be nice if an actress with a nice voice could do it. JYJ’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, spoke on a phone call with 10 Asia, “After we heard Jaejoong’s story, we were looking for an actress and actress Kim Jung Eun enthusiastically answered our call. All of JYJ’s members were happy and thankful.”
In addition, it was revealed that it was the decision of JYJ’s members to put Junsu in the music video for “In Heaven.” JYJ’s agency said, “Jaejoong stated that rather than himself being in the music video for the song he made, he preferred Yoochun or Junsu being in it. The decision was made under the agreement of all of the members that Junsu best fit the character of the synopsis.” Although Junsu does not have experience in acting in dramas, he has starred in musicals such as “Mozart” and “Tears of Heaven”, and has studied acting consistently. Junsu partnered up with actress Song Jihyo as a couple and it is reported that they received good feedback from the crew.
JYJ’s full music video for “In Heaven” will be revealed on September 15th.

Who is Jaejoong cuddling in his arms?

Not to worry, Jaejoong fans — the singer/actor is merely posing for the camera with an adorable gray cat.

On September 7th, Jaejoong shared a cute photo via Twitter, causing fans worldwide to respond with a resounding ‘Awwwww‘.

Jaejoong is seen wearing a simple button-down shirt while looking down lovingly at the fluffy cat in his arms.

After seeing the photo, fans left comments like ,”This is super cute” and “I want to be that cat!”.

JYJ releases friendly PSA for internet security

JYJ has just released a friendly public service announcement (PSA) called ’Do It Now!‘.
In the commercial, JYJ actively promotes being smarter with internet security by urging people to change their passwords frequently. The message is definitely hard to ignore, thanks to the trio’s overflowing charm and devastatingly good looks.

JYJ performs at closing ceremony for ’2011 Daegu IAAF World Championships’

Last week, we reported that JYJ would perform for the closing ceremony of the ‘2011 Daegu World Athletics Championships‘ on September 4th.

Fans had expressed their anticipation in seeing JYJ perform live on TV, but at that time, a KBS official had commented that it was uncertain if JYJ’s performance would be broadcasted on air.

So you can imagine the relief and excitement fans felt when JYJ’s performance did indeed air!

Proudly standing on stage as the representatives of Korea during the event, JYJ sang their hearts out with their song “Empty” as beautiful fireworks lit up the night sky of Daegu above them.

JYJ’s Yoochun chooses Jaejoong as his rival

On August 29th, JYJ’s Yoochun attended the press conference for the ‘2011 Seoul International Drama Awards‘ at the International Conference Hall in Seoul.

When asked by reporters who he considered his rival as a Hallyu star, Yoochun replied, “He’s actually close to me.  He’s currently filming the drama ‘Protect the Boss‘ and I’ll be visiting tomorrow to see him.  Even while filming, he’s on alert.”

The person he chose is none other than fellow member Jaejoong, who’s currently playing the role of ‘Cha Moo Won’ on ‘Protect the Boss’.

Yoochun also won the online popularity poll held by ‘Yahoo! Korea’ for the ceremony with 480,000 votes.  On winning, he said, “I’m honored to receive such a big award.  Because the poll was held all across Asia, it’s that much more meaningful but also that much more pressuring for me.”

JYJ’s Yoochun and Moon Geun Young win the popularity poll for ‘2011 Seoul Drama Awards’

On August 25th, the results for the online popularity poll for the category of ‘Most Popular Actor’ and ‘Most Popular Actress’ were revealed ahead of the upcoming ‘Seoul Drama Awards 2011‘ ceremony.

Held through Yahoo! Korea, the poll asked fans to vote for the most popular actor and actress for the year of 2011. Out of 115 contestants, JYJ’s Yoochun snagged first place for the male category with a total of 480,000 votes. Jang Geun Suk and Kim Jae Won placed second and third place respectively.

Moon Geun Young led the female category, followed by Park Min Young and Ha Ji Won.

As for the Japanese actors, Kamiki Ryunosuke and Ashida Mana took first place, while in the Taiwanese category, Wu Zheng Di and Jian Man Shu took first. 

The most popular actor and actress for Hong Kong were Wayne Lai Yiu Cheung and Charmaine Sheh, and for China, they were Yu Xiao Tong and Chen Hao.

The ‘Seoul Drama Awards 2011′ will open on August 31st at 5:20 PM KST at the KBS Hall. The event will be broadcasted live through SBS TV.
