AKB48 reveals new details on upcoming single, “Flying Get”!

AKB48 has just revealed new details about their upcoming single, “Flying Get“!

As previously reported, AKB48’s 22nd single will be released on August 24th, and features the top twenty-one members from the election held in June. “Flying Get” has already been claimed as the theme song for the drama “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e ~Ikemen Paradise~ 2011“, starring “AKB48’s face” Maeda Atsuko.

The coupling track “Dakishimechaikenai” – which will be included on all versions of the single – will feature the girls who ranked from #22-40; they will collectively perform the song as “Undergirls“. The regular Type-A version contains the exclusive B-side “Seishun to Kidzukanai Mama” (the theme song for “Majisuka Gakuen 2“), while the Type-B version will include the “Ice no Mi” CM song, “Ice no Kuchidzuke“. Fans who pick up the theater version of “Flying Get” will receive the CM song, “Yasai Uranai“.

A special 18-minute ‘movie version’ of the “Flying Get” PV will also be included in the DVDs, which sees the members of AKB48 dressed as elegant celestial maidens. This  ‘drama version’ – which will be directed by Tsutsumi Yukihiko – will include both action and dance scenes, making for an exciting treat for fans.
