William Ireton, the president of the Warner Entertainment Japan, arrived at Miyagi Prefecture recently and formally met with the governor of the prefecture, Murai Yoshihiro.
Since Warner Entertainment Japan is in charge of distributing the movie, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2”, President Ireton brought a large Japanese flag signed by the 17 cast and staff members of “Harry Potter”, including Daniel Radcliff, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, who penned encouragements to the victims of the Tohoku disaster.
The flag was handed to governor Murai, who said, “We will hang this flag in a place where most of the Miyagi Prefecture population can see this.”He continued, “After the disaster, we received many encouraging messages from people all over the world. Right now, we are giving our utmost attention and efforts towards the reconstruction of the affected areas,” and thanked everyone for the support.
This flag is scheduled to be shown in a relay message in both Iwate Prefecture and Fukushima Prefecture as well.
