On July 13th, it was revealed that actor/singer Tokuyama Hidenori plans to release his first single in a decade titled, “Propose/Ai no Mama Eien ni”, on August 24th. The new song “Propose” was written by Tsunku♂ and composed by Hatake, who are both part of the band, Sharam Q.
Currently, Tokuyama plays Oscar M. Himeshima, the third dormitory leader at Ohsaka Gakuen, as the part of the new summer drama, “Hanazakari no Kimi tachi e ~Ikemen Paradise~ 2011”.
As for his music career, he debuted back in July 1999 with song, “Afureru Omoi” and has been part of the music industry for almost 13 years. “Propose” is said to be a medium-tempo ballad that focuses on his smooth vocals, and the lyrics about his straight-forward feelings for one person.
His other song, “Ai no Mama Eien ni”, has been picked up to be an ending theme song for the upcoming movie, “Thanatos”, where he plays the leading role. This summer, he will be performing at his own live tour titled, ‘Tokuyama Hidenori LIVE TOUR 2011 ‘SHOUT ~Higashi Kara Kimashita~’’, which will take place in three major cities in Japan.
