AKB48 distributes 5th version jacket covers for “Flying Get” in Shibuya

As a release notice of their new single, “Flying Get“, popular idol group AKB48 distributed different version jacket covers at Shibuya Station on the morning of August 23rd. The passers-by were able to freely take home these jackets, that were pressed with gold stamps saying “Furage Nintei (Flying Get Authorization)“. While 3,000 jackets were prepared for this distribution, every single one of them were gone in an hour.
The official release date for “Flying Get” is August 24th, and it originally comes in four different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, Regular Edition A, and Regular Edition B. This ‘5th version’ that is unobtainable in stores became a ‘rare’ item in just one hour.
Meanwhile, the title “Flying Get” means to obtain CDs or DVDs the day before they officially go on sale. Therefore, “Flying Get” is available for ‘furage’ (short for flying get) in stores now (August 23rd).
