Young actress Kawaguchi Haruna attended a handshake event for the latest issue of the TV, idol, and gravure magazine “B.L.T. U-17“, which featured her on its cover.
The magazine actually released their latest issue with a double cover: on one side, Kawaguchi Haruna poses as herself, while on the other side, she gets snapped in the costume of her character, ‘Fujioka Haruhi‘, a girl-disguised-as-a-boy in “Ouran High School Host Club“.
For the handshake event, Kawaguchi also came dressed as Haruhi, wearing the trademark blazer from the drama. She commented, “It’s a nice change to wear this outfit outside of the drama’s set. I’m very excited (to wear this outfit in front of my fans).”
About the shooting the pictorial in Ota, Gunma, Kawaguchi expressed, “It was very hot. Fortunately, there weren’t a lot of people, and it was nice enjoying nature and places you usually don’t visit.” She also pointed out her favorite picture, “The picture at the train crossing. There really weren’t any cars or people when we took the pictures there.”
Since she is finally starring in her first drama, she talked about her goal as an actress. She said, “I love Kanno Miho and I want to become a lovely woman like her.”
At the end of the event, she was asked about how she would like to spend the rest of the summer holidays, and she replied, “For the drama we already went to the sea, but next time I’d like to go with my friends.”
