In 2001 B'z have released their hit song "ultra soul" and since during the same year the world swimming championship had been held, it had become the theme song of it, making it a best seller with 900.000 copies sold. In 2011 the song has been re-recorded as "ultra soul 2011" and will be used as the theme song for the swimming championship staring to air on TV Asahi from July 16th, 2011 once again.
If "ultra soul 2011" will be released or not has until now not been announces and B'z commented: "With the song, we would like to support the athletes during their harsh days until they can reach glory."
