MATENROU OPERA : "ETHER" (SHORT VER)[PV]

Matenrou Opera's (摩天楼オペラ) new single will be released on April 8! The video above contains the short version of the music video for the title track, "ether", plus parts from the sample digest which was published earlier this month.

The preview is slightly reminiscent of "Tengoku no Aru Basho", in my opinion. I'm looking forward to the full version which will most likely be released soon after its release, since it's not included in the single. So keep an eye out for it!

Matenrou Opera to release 1st full album + announces 2012 tour

Visual rock band Matenrou Opera has announced through their official website that they’ll be releasing their first full-length album after switching labels.

Very little information is known at this time, but it will be released on March 7th, 2012. Additionally, the first press will come in special packaging.

Matenrou Opera also announced that they will embark on a nationwide tour to promote their album. The tour will stretch for one month, starting in April at Sendai MACANA and ending at Akasaka BLITZ in May.

Fanclub members can pre-order tickets now, while general ticket sales will be available on March 24th.

Matenrou Opera - Otoshiana no Soko wa Konna Sekai PV [Director's Cut]

Matenrou Opera Creating Dark Piece with New Single "Otoshi Ana no Soko ha Konna Sekai"

On October 19th, Matenrou Opera will be releasing their new single "Otoshi Ana no Soko ha Konna Sekai", which will be their second major single after the release of "Helios".

The new record is portraying a darker world in its lyrics and perspective along with the symphonic sound, showing yet a new approach to Matenrou's style.

The single will be available at regular and a special edition, which will come with a DVD. The coupling tracks vary according to the edition and the first press special edition will come with the track "Sleeping Beauty", whereas the regurla edition will contain the song "Diorama Wonderland".

The DVD will include the video clip to the title track as a directors cut version.

Moreover, On October 15th, Matenrou Opera will be performing in South Korea at the "2011 Big Field Rock Festival", together with other Japanese artists such as FLOW, dustfox and others.

摩天楼オペラ (matenrou opera) announced a new single for the 19th of October.
The record will be called 「落とし穴の底はこんな世界」(otoshi anano sokowa konna seikai).
According to king record's twitter it'll be a two-type release,
a limited edition with DVD and a regular one.

According to CD JAPAN, they will be releasing a new single on 10.19.2011. It is currently untitled and will come in 2 types. I tried checking their OHP, but there was no announcement on there to confirm. They will also be making their first US appearance at ANIME USA in Virginia in November.
