Performances from 2011 MBC Gayo Daejaejun (Part 2)

It’s New Year’s Eve in Korea, and what better way to send off 2011 than with a livey music show with this year’s top artists!

MBC drew together a formidable list of performers this year, along with a beloved cast of MCs from their popular reality show, ‘We Got Married‘.Eunjung, Lee Jang Woo, Ga-In, Jo Kwon, Victoria, Nichkhun, Kang Sora, and Leeteuk all led the ceremonies this year with their respective ‘spouses’.

Artists were divided into two teams, Blue and White. Throughout the show, viewers cast their votes through text messages for their favorite team, and the winner was revealed at the end of the show.

Boyfriend releases 3rd single, “I’ll Be There”

On December 8th, idol group Boyfriend released their 3rd single, ‘I’ll Be There‘.

Comprised of three tracks and two instrumentals, the single was created as a thank you gift from the boys for all the love and support shown to them by fans since their debut earlier this year.

Boyfriend will be promoting “I’ll Be There” as their title track, so stay tuned to allkpop for music program updates. In the meantime, check out their single below, and don’t forget to support the boys by purchasing their music!

Boyfriend unveils MV for “I’ll Be There”

Boyfriend has just unveiled the full MV for their new song, “I’ll Be There“!

Since the song belongs a special winter release, the MV reflects the season by incorporating dance shots in the snow. Though Boyfriend promised to showcase a more mature image this time around, fans were glad to see that they’ve still managed to retain some of that lighthearted style they’ve become famous for.

Boyfriend members sign their autographs with BB cream

 Members Youngmin, Kwangmin, and Donghyun of rookie group Boyfriend attended a product launch event on November 9th for skincare brand Lab Series.

The brand showcased some new products they’ll launching early next year, which included a 3-piece skin-brightening set, as well as a BB cream for men and max LS water lotion.

In honor of their new BB cream, Lab Series hosted a special event that had celebrities sign their name with BB cream instead of ink. In the above photo, the Boyfriend members hold up their personal autographs signed on black paper.

Definitely an eye-catching event!

Boyfriend reveals teaser for “Don’t touch my girl”

Boyfriend plans to add some testosterone in the midst of a frenzy of girl group comebacks.

The boys of Boyfriend have been working diligently on their impending comeback. The only info we had thus far was via a twitter post by member Kwangmin but now we have some more info and a teaser was also uploaded to Starship Entertainment‘s official YouTube channel!

Boyfriend’s 2nd single album will be titled “Don’t Touch My Girl” and contains 5 track in total:

01. You’re my lady
02. 내 여자 손대지마 (Don’t touch my girl)
03. 점점점 (Jum Jum Jum / Little by Little)
04. 내 여자 손대지마 Inst.
05. 점점점 Inst.

Additionally, the second single album is slated for release on October 6th and was produced by hit making duo, Sweetune. As we patiently wait for the release, check out the teaser for “Don’t Touch My Girl” below!

KoreA : Boyfriend to follow-up with “YOU & I”

Rookie idol group Boyfriend will be wrapping up their promotions for “Boyfriend” this week in order to move onto their follow-up track, “YOU & I“.

The boys chose the song that received the hottest response from both fans and music critics alike.  

Unlike their sweet and cutesy debut concept, they’ll be working with a ’cold city man’ charm to capture the hearts of nuna fans everywhere all over again.

Produced by hit composer Brave Brothers, the boys have teamed up with dance team DQ (who’ve worked with MBLAQ, B2ST, and Rain) to reflect their new image change in their choreography.
