ViViD : Sony Music for "Message" Comment

ViViD Announce Details and Specials for Single Release "message"

On January 11th, ViViD will be releasing their 4th major single "message", for which they have now announced a special commemoration event and projects.

Like the title of the single says, the theme of the song is to "convey feelings to someone important" and accordingly, ViViD will include special application tickets to their Complete Limited Edition A and B of the single, which will grant 300 lucky people the chance to win a special message from the band members.

The ViViD members will call 250 winners directly as the first prize and another 50 winners will receive a special hand written message from them. The contents of the messages have not been revealed and are meant to be "joy for the winners only!"

The application period starts with the release of the single and will end on January 15th at Midnight Japanese Standard Time.

Another commemoration event will be held on January 14th at Shinagawa Stellar Ball, which will include an exhibition of the outfits, ViViD will be wearing at their Budokan performance, a special movie showing along with a meet and greet with the band members. Nation wide a number of in-store events are also scheduled, so make sure to check the official site for details.

ViViD reveals the cover jacket for their 4th single

Five-member rock band ViViD will be releasing their 4th single “message” on January 11th, and the cover jackets for the upcoming single were revealed on Sankei Sports.

The new single is a rock song that expresses the feeling toward loved ones.  The vocalist, Shin commented, “I wrote the lyrics with my feeling of gratitude toward everybody who has been involved, not only the words of love toward a specific person.  I hope I will be able to tell that to everybody directly at Budokan next year.”

As Shin mentioned, ViViD is planning to hold their 1st live concert at Nippon Budokan 0n January 7th 2012.

ViViD Reach Highest Chart Position in Their Band History with Single "FAKE"

Only in the earl half of 2009 have ViViD formed and made their indies debut the same year, when they are now already heading towards their first performance at Nippon Budokan.

On November 9th, they have also released their third major single "FAKE", which had them ranked them 10th upon chart entry with regard to the sales. They also made it into the Billboard Charts JAPAN HOT 100, ranking 16th at once.

Currently ViViD are making various stops along Asia and are exciting the fans outside Japan, while their songs are ranking high in their home country.

Btw. the travel package for ViViD's performance at Nippon Budokan next year in January is still available, so make sure to use this chance and experience ViViD's performance live in Japan!

ViViD kicks off their first Asia tour in Hong Kong

On November 5th, rock band ViViD kicked off their first Asia tour in Hong Kong.

The band was welcomed with chants of ViViD’s name and loud claps from 600 fans. When vocalistShin called out, “We are ViViD!“, the crowd burst into screams and cheers.

ViViD is a five member band comprised of Shin, Reno (G), Ryoga (G), Iv (B), and Ko-Ki (Dr). After their single “BLUE” got picked as the opening theme song for “BLEACH“, the band’s popularity suddenly skyrocketed worldwide.

In Hong Kong, ViViD is known as ‘the band that will carry on a new generation’ because all members are ‘ikemen‘. The ‘ikemen‘ sang a total of 16 songs, including their latest single, “FAKE“.

The boys will travel to Taiwan and Singapore after they wrap up their Hong Kong concert; they will then move on to perform at the Nippon Budokan on January 7th.

Shin commented, “We want to go beyond the language barrier and introduce Japanese music and ViViD.”
