Flumpool : vocalist to appear solo in a CM for ‘Mobage’~

flumpool’s vocalist, Yamamura Ryuta, will be appearing solo in the upcoming CM for the mobile game site “Mobage“, which will start airing on June 15th. Yamamura stated, “The filming was limited to early mornings and I had to sing with just one guitar, so I was challenged with a different atmosphere.
The CM is a story that consists of four episodes where the lyrics tie-in with the final episode as Yamamura sings enthusiastically with a guitar by the lake. The words that are brought forth by Yamamura picks up a melody and becomes a song. This process, and his natural voice, adds a documentary touch to the CM.

The producer, Yanai Michihiko, explained, “The song alone is the message of the CM. The words of Yamamura overlaps the will of Mobage. The CM was filmed at the beautiful Inawashiro Lake in Fukushima. The film crew came out during this hard time. That is how encouraging the people of Fukushima are. I am very thankful for Mobage and flumpool for their understanding and support.”

The song that will be used in the CM is flumpool’s new song, “Donna Mirai ni mo Ai wa Aru“, which will
be released as a single on July 27th. Yamamura commented, “We are living in times where the future is unclear. I wrote this song hoping to bring a smile upon as many people as possible. I will be happy if the message of ‘Donna Mirai ni mo Ai wa Aru’ will encourage those who are living positively.

flumpool announced on the 5th that they would be releasing their new single in July, titled “Donna Mirai ni mo Ai wa Aru / Touch”. It has been around 10 months since flumpool’s last single, “Kimi ni Todoke” was released in September 2010. Details on the single will be revealed at a later date.

On this same day, flumpool was performing their nationwide tour “Fantasia of Life Strip ~Bokutachi wa Koko in Iru~” at Kanagawa Kenmin Hall. The band was originally set to perform on April 2nd and 3rd, but due to the earthquake they had to postpone it until the 5th.

Vocalist Yamamura Ryuta greeted the 2,500 fans in attendance, “Kanagawa, we’ve wanted to meet you! We’re sorry for keeping you all waiting! Due to the earthquake, we had to change dates and some people couldn’t attend, but since it’s such a (difficult) time, I hope that all of you who were able to make it to this live, get your courage and hope back. Please enjoy our live”.

The band performed their hit singles as well as tracks from their album “Fantasia of Life Stripe”, which was released in January. The fans burst into excitement during the encore, when the band announced their new single as well as the fact that they were set to perform in the disaster stricken area at Zepp Sendai on August 12th.

The tour started on April 9th at Fukuoka Sun Palace Hotel & Hall and will continue with 17 performances in 9 cities. The band will finish their tour on August 19th at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.
