SDN48 to sing a duet with Mino Monta for their New Single

AKB48’s sister group SDN48 has revealed that the title of their New Single will be “Kudoki Nagara Azabu Juban duet with Mino Monta“!

For this new single, the girls will be singing a duet with tv presenter Mino Monta. The song is described to be a duet song perfect for karaoke during the New Year’s holiday. The 8 members who will be participating in this song are Akita Kazue, Urano Kazumi, Ohori Megumi, Kohara Haruna, Sato Yukari, Serina, Noro Kayo, and KONAN.

It’s been about 5 years since Mino Monta participated in a CD recording. The recording for “Kudoki Nagara Azabu Juban duet with Mino Monta” was held in early-November.

The single will come in both Type A and Type B editions. Both versions will come with a DVD containing music videos, making-of clips, and special clips.

“Kudoki Nagara Azabu Juban” is slated for release on December 28th.

SDN48 to release a new single in December!

It was revealed at a recent SDN48 theater show that the ladies of SDN48 who recently announced that all members of SDN48 would graduate from the group in March 2012, will release a new single on December 28th.  It will be their 4th single after “MIN・MIN・MIN” which was released back in August.

The single will come in a Type A and Type B editions and both editions will include three tracks each as well as a DVD, with the third being a different song, so four new songs total.

SDN48 holds an event at Yomiuri Land, says they won’t lose to Nogizaka46!

On the August 21st, SDN48 held an event at Yomiuri Land for their third single, “MIN MIN MIN”.

The members wore sexy outfits and performed seven songs including “Everyday, Kachuusha (SDN48 Ver.)”. The last song was “Kodoku na Runner”, which all 39 members performed enthusiastically. Despite the light rain, 2,500 fans showed up at the event to watch them perform.

When asked about AKB48’s official rivals Nogizaka46, Serina (26) answered, “We’ve been around for two years and that keeps adding up. So, they shouldn’t be able to pass us. We don’t want to lose to them.”

SDN48’s youngest member Fukuda Akane (21) thanked their fans, “Today is a precious day since all 39 of us could gather. Hearing our fans’ cheers throughout the songs was amazing. I’m grateful to be part of the SDN group”.

SDN48 is in charge of the “sexy” concept among the AKB48 groups and their latest single is currently being used in a CM for the adult beverage “Minmin Daha”.

SDN48’s performance + talk on “Happy MUSIC”!

On the August 19th episode of “Happy MUSIC“, AKB48’s sibling group SDN48 made their appearance on this show and performed “MIN MIN MIN“.

On the talk segment, the five members of SDN48 talked about body lotion and put in a request for comedian Ayabe Yuuji of Peace to do a comedian stunt for them.

A few hours ago, SDN48’s Undergirls A released their PV for “Onedari Champagne“.

Now, the Undergirls B’s turn to wow J-Pop fans with their “Abazure” PV. The song is from SDN48’s new single, “MIN MIN MIN“, and its corresponding PV features the girls in sexy outfits, who show off a sultry ‘hip dance’.

Even AKB48’s big sister group SDN48 is getting in on the super popular election single, “Everyday, Kachuusha”. The girls are normally seen sporting sexier outfits, dances, and songs than their younger counterparts, so this cute cover is quite refreshing!
“Everyday, Kachuusha (SDN48 ver.)” can be found on the B-version CD of their latest single, “MIN MIN MIN”.

The latest “SDN48 News” gives us a sneak peek into the PVs for SDN48’s latest single “MIN MIN MIN”. The preview reveals a preview of “MIN MIN MIN”, “Onedari Champagne”, “Abazure”, and “Everyday, Kachuusha (SDN48 ver.)”.
Each PV looks like it is going to have its own unique flavor. The most interesting though is probably SDN48’s version of “Everyday, Kachuusha”; the girls toss away their usual sexy image and give off the cuteness usually held by the younger 48 groups.

SDN48 reveal a PV preview of their coupling track “Onedari Champagne”!!

The Undergirls A of SDN48 have revealed a PV preview of “Onedari Champagne”, one of the coupling tracks from their newest single “MIN MIN MIN”.

The girls participating are: Akita Kazue, Urano Kzumi, Kaida Juri, Kato Mami, Kochi Masami, Chen Qu, Asakura Kayo, Hatakeyama Chisaki, Aikawa Yuki, Akiko, Ito Mana and Natsuko.

SDN48 become “Black Lovers” for ‘Weekly Playboy

This week’s edition of the idol and gravure magazine, ‘Weekly Playboy‘ featured another enticing pictorial of AKB48’s more mature sister-group SDN48.

As the title “Black Lover” suggests, we get to see five young ladies of the adult idol group dressed in nothing but black; with an emphasis on ‘nothing’. Instead of wearing a bikini top, they once again went for a topless theme. However, this time they aren’t using their own hands to cover the important parts of themselves or the other members, at least not when the pictures were taken. Instead they having some interesting hand prints and other smudges all over their pretty bodies.

Professional body painters “Hagalex Japan” and illustrator Shinomoto634 were responsible for this alluring “Black Lover” set. Of course the concept only came to life thanks to the work of photographerNakayama Masafumi, who already worked together with AKB48’s Maeda Atsuko and Oshima Yukofor photobooks, and the very popular “Heaven” photobook of gravure idol Yoshiki Risa.
