Details on Tohoshinki’s 5-dome tour revealed

The details on Tohoshinki’s upcoming live tour, ‘Nationwide 5 Dome Tour 2013 (Tentative)‘, has been revealed!

The tour will kick off with a 3-day Saitama Super Arena concert starting on April 27th. The boys will then perform at Nagoya Dome, Fukuoka Yahoo! JAPAN Dome, Kyocera Dome Osaka, Tokyo Dome, and Sapporo Dome.

Preview for TVXQ’s single “Winter Rose” revealed

Last month, we reported that TVXQ (Tohoshinki) would be releasing their new single, “Winter” on November 30th. The single features Tohoshinki’s very first Christmas song, “Winter Rose“, and a winter version of their song, “Duet“.

Earlier today, a 43 second preview for “Winter Rose” was revealed on Tohoshinki’s official website and from the preview you can tell that it’s a beautiful track, fitting for the Winter season.

Karina’s new CM for “Nissen” revealed, feat. Tohoshinki’s “Easy Mind”

On October 22nd, actress/model Karina appeared in a new CM for “2011 ‘nissen’ Winter Catalog” as their image character.

This latest CM, titled “Circle Runway”, features shots of Karina constantly changing her outfit in front of a white background to match the catchphrase, “Like turning over pages of a book, I will change”. The endorsement, which Karina wearing items with sheepskin and rabbit fur, advertises women to be fashionable and warm at the same time for this winter.

In addition to Karina’s wonderful catwalk, the theme song for this CM is no other than Tohoshinki’s “Easy Mind” from their original album, “TONE”. As this is a upbeat and playful song, this duo stated, “We think this song matches the trendy and bright atmosphere of this CM and we also believe that this song can be a source of energy so please do look forward to it.”

Tohoshinki announces new single, “Winter”

Tohoshinki has announced that they will be releasing a new single, titled “Winter“, on November 30th!

The single will feature Tohoshinki’s very first Christmas song, “Winter Rose“, and a winter version of their song, “Duet“.

HEY! HEY! HEY! Music Champ announces K-Pop special for October 10th

HEY! HEY! HEY! Music Champ announced that they are going to air a two-hour-long special on October 10th in order to celebrate the 18th year anniversary of the show.

They also revealed the line-up for the special on their blog and made it clear that it’s going to be full-fledged K-Pop special, but the biggest highlight is going to be the appearance of Tohoshinki, who haven’t been on the show for two years.

The rest of the line-up includes T-ARA, RAINBOW, and AFTERSCHOOL, who are each going to perform medleys of their most popular songs, as well as performances from 2NE1 and FTISLAND.

Child actor Suzuki Fuku is going to be one of the panelists again and he already announced that he is going to dance to “Maru-Maru-Mori-Mori!” together with the girls from AFTERSCHOOL.

However, the show won’t be limited to just K-POP. The long-standing pop & dance group TRF, who have frequently been in the TOP 20 when HEY! HEY! HEY! Music Champ started 18 years ago, are going to perform a special medley that shouldn’t be missed.

Furthermore, it was announced that there is going to be a special collaboration by ‘ONE PIECE‘ and AMEMIYA dedicated to Tohoshinki.

October 2nd performances from ‘Music Japan’

October 2nd’s episode of ‘Music Japan’ showcased a variety of talented artists!

tokyohive already reported on S/mileage’s performance of “Tachiagaaru“, and now we’ve followed up with the remaining stages. Visual Kei band, SID, performed their new single, “Itsuka“, while Porno Graffitti and Tohoshinki delivered “One More Time” and “B.U.T (BE-AU-TY)“.

‘Music Japan’ also aired a segment of AKB48 visiting and performing in the affected Tohoku areas.

Tohoshinki collaborates with JR Yamatesen

Pop group Tohoshinki is doing everything they can to promote their upcoming album “TONE“, this includes hijacking one of the busiest trains in Tokyo, the JR Yamatesen.

For the next two weeks (September 17th to October 1st) the train will be known a the “Tohoshinki Premium Train” and are wrapped in the three colors of red, blue and yellow; the colors of their album jackets. Not only that but the inside of the train is also filled with their images, making this train completely theirs.

The boys of of Tohoshinki revealed a short video preview for “B.U.T. (BE-AU-TY)”, the title track to their upcoming Japanese album ‘Tone‘ and now the full PV has been released!

Tohoshinki grace the covers of “JJ” and “Ray” magazine

Pop duo Tohoshinki will be gracing the November covers of fashion magazines “JJ” and “Ray“!

Tohoshinki will be releasing their new album “TONE” on September 28th, and since JJ will be releasing its November issue on September 23rd, the pictorials will be extra coveted by fans.

JJ’s cover shows the boys donning outfits in black, giving them a “hard” and “cool” image. The boys’ assertive charm was snapped just-so by photographer Ninagawa Mika (the director of “Sakuran” and AKB48’s “Heavy Rotation” PV), causing fangirls to melt over the brilliant shot. Included in the issue are a pair of 3D glasses for the 3D poster of the duo. JJ will also be giving away a signed poster as a present to fans.

Ray’s angle on Tohoshinki takes on a lighter note, ‘more pure’ if you will, as seen by the white background. The magazine’s editor-in-chief had sought to make it more “dreamy”, and it looks like they certainly achieved that effect.

Tohoshinki reveals preview for B.U.T. (BE-AU-TY)

On September 28th, the boys of Tohoshinki are scheduled to release their new Japanese album titled, “TONE“. The title track from this upcoming album is assumed to be a track titled, “B.U.T. (BE-AU-TY)” and earlier today avex uploaded a 15 second PV teaser on their official YouTube channel.

Tohoshinki has just revealed the jacket covers for their new album, “TONE“, which will be released on September 28th. The CD will come in three editions, and a different color has been prepared for each version.

Additionally, it was revealed that Tohoshinki’s nationwide tour, “Tohoshinki LIVE TOUR 2012 ~TONE~“, will kick off on January 18th, with a total of 14 performances in 9 locations.

Finally, the duo recently released a teaser for “Duet“, a track from their upcoming album, through their official Japanese website.
