A few days ago,SECRET finally unveiled their new song “Talk That“!
The girls have teamed up with producer Shinsadong Tiger, whom they worked with on their debut mini-album “Magic“, after three years to bring out “Talk That”, a French-electric style song featuring minor chords and emotional vocals, which is different from their usual bright and confident style.
Although the girls just wrapped up promotions for “Poison,” they’re back and more ready then ever to conquer the stage.

It’s New Year’s Eve in Korea, and what better way to send off 2011 than with a livey music show with this year’s top artists!
MBC drew together a formidable list of performers this year, along with a beloved cast of MCs from their popular reality show, ‘We Got Married‘.Eunjung, Lee Jang Woo, Ga-In, Jo Kwon, Victoria, Nichkhun, Kang Sora, and Leeteuk all led the ceremonies this year with their respective ‘spouses’.
Artists were divided into two teams, Blue and White. Throughout the show, viewers cast their votes through text messages for their favorite team, and the winner was revealed at the end of the show.

With their mini-album “Shy Boy” set to release in Japan on November 16th, four-member girl group SECREThas released the complete PV (music video) for their track, “CHRISTMAS MAGIC” today!
A remake of SECRET’s previous hit, “Starlight Moonlight”, this release gives the Korean track a Christmas twist, with a cheery holiday mix to the original beat and a winter-themed PV that features the four ladies getting ready for Christmas.
SECRET is currently promoting their latest Korean track, “Love Is Move” back in their homeland, but stay tuned for more updates on these ladies’ upcoming activities in Japan!
SECRET is on a roll with their Japanese promotions! Following their “Madonna” release, the girls have decided to go with “Shy Boy” as their second Japanese work.
SECRET have already completed filming their music video for “Shy Boy” on August 28th, and will finalize preparations for their release by September. Details on whether the release will be a single or a mini-album have yet to be revealed.
The girls shared that they hope to show a different charm to their strong, cosmopolitan look from “Madonna” by going for a sweeter, swings-style with “Shy Boy”.
Before their “Shy Boy” release in November, however, the girls will be releasing an official album in Korea.
On August 20th, MBC hosted the ‘K-POP All Star Live in Niigata‘ concert in Japan for their 50th anniversary, which boasted a brilliant line-up of the top K-Pop artists in the industry.
12 K-Pop groups - TEEN TOP, INFINITE, SISTAR, SECRET, KARA, CNBLUE, 2PM, 2AM, SNSD,B2ST, 4minute, and Norazo – performed to a wild crowd of Hallyu fans who got to see not only their favorite idols, but some special stages as well.
Korean idol group SECRET made an appearance on the August 13th episode of CDTV to perform their Japanese debut single, “Madonna“.
Before the performance, the four members of SECRET briefly introduced themselves and the song. Leader Hyosung described “Madonna” as a “groovy and an aggressive song“.

Roughly 3,500 fans lined up for this event, which is also the first time the members of SECRET were able to meet their Japanese fans. Leader HyoSung commented, “We were waiting for this day for so long. I’m so happy we get to meet our fans up close.”
It appears SECRET is kicking their Japanese debut off on a good start!
On July 13th, K-Pop took over Japan’s Tokyo Dome for ‘Music Bank in Tokyo K-POP Festival‘! Performances from the concert were finally broadcast through KBS on July 22nd and on 72 different networks around the world, thanks to their satellite channel, KBS World.
The three hour-long concert was attended by 15 Korean artists, including TVXQ, KARA, SNSD, 2PM, B2ST, 4minute, U-KISS, IU, Baek Ji Young, SECRET, Rainbow, INFINITE, Park Hyun Bin, Rania, and X-5, who danced and sang to an exuberant crowd of 45,000. This was the first time in 15 years that 15 artists stood together at the Tokyo Dome, so it’s no surprise that tickets sold out in just 4 days.
KBS spent a total of 7.1 million USD for the Hallyu concert and brought in 25 different cameras for the special event. Hosted by KARA’s Gyuri, Hara, and actor Hyun Woo, the concert had an exciting finale with a group performance of DJ DOC’s classic song “Run to You“.
