Rock band MONKEY MAJIK has just announced that they will be holding a second charity live, in their hometown Sendai, on October 16th to aid the Tohoku Earthquake reconstruction efforts.
MONKEY MAJIK held their first charity project, ‘SEND AI‘, on July 3rd at Osakajou Ongakudou. For this second charity live, MONKEY MAJIK will perform at a larger venue, Sekisui Heim Super Arena (Grande 21). They hope to included additional participating artists, those names will be announced at a later date.
This project was began from the members’ desire “not to make the disaster fade with time, but to regain the beauty of Tohoku, we need to spread the ring of support and ‘love’ nationwide through music“.
Tickets will be available for pre-order on MONKEY MAJIK’s mobile members from August 5th to August 7th. General tickets will go on sale from September 17th through Play Guide.
A part of the proceeds from the live will be donated to disaster-stricken areas.
