On August 24th, it was announced that the animated series for Aoyama Gosho’s “Magic Kaito” will broadcast a new episode on September 24th through Yomiuri TV! This episode will air as a part of the “Detective Conan” TV anime special.
“Magic Kaito” is a series that Aoyama worked on before the serialization of his hit series, “Detective Conan”. It tells the story of ‘Kaito Kuroba‘, a high school student who’s obsessed with magic and looks for clues behind his father’s death, all while taking on the name of “Kaito Kid (Phantom Thief Kid)”. This upcoming episode will feature the appearance of ‘Koizumi Akako‘, a witch.
Furthermore, the latest edition of “Weekly Shounen Sunday Volume 39” kicked off the publication of the sequel for “Magic Kaito” which begins where Aoyama left off four years ago. This issue will also feature details on how the anime version of Koizumi was drawn.
