Popular groups AAA and Perfume will be performing in Asia’s biggest music festival, “2011 Asia Song Festival“, on October 15th at Daegu Stadium in Korea.
AAA and Perfume were chosen by The Korean Foundation of International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) as the top artists to represent Japan. This will be AAA’s first live in Korea since their debut in 2005.
This annual event kicked off in 2004 with the purpose to exchange Asia’s music and culture. In the past, prominent artists such as Hamasaki Ayumi and Koda Kumi participated in the event, delivering Japan’s music culture to all over Asia.
Now running into its 8th year, the event will feature performances by 10 artists from six Asian countries, including Korea’s representatives, SUPER JUNIOR and Shoujo Jidai.
“2011 Asia Song Festival” will broadcast on 44 TV stations in 40 countries all over the world.
