On September 14th, gravure idol unit “G☆Girls” will make their official CD debut with the single “Mahou wo Kakete Love Me Do“!
The group was formed through the audition “Miss FLASH”, which was sponsored by the weekly magazine “FLASH“. The “G” in their name stands for the word “gravure”, but the girls plan to win over fans through their motto of “enchanting with singing, dancing, and gravure”.
Members Kuroda Arisa (23), Saitou Marina (19), Suzuki Fumina (21), and Nitou Misaki (18) were chosen for their shining talent at the “Miss FLASH 2011 Grand Prix” event earlier this year, while members Ishihara Miyu (19), Ootsu Kotoko (23), Shiina Ayumi (20), Shizuka (19), and Horiguchi Anna (18) were selected for their potential as a talento.
The girls’ debut single “Mahou wo Kakete Love Me Do” is said to be a cute electropop number that honestly expresses a girl’s feelings. It’s been coupled with a danceable B-side titled “SPY GAME“.
For those fans who absolutely can’t wait to meet the girls, G☆Girls will be holding an exclusive event at the Sofmap Amusement in Akihabara on September 17th, which will include a mini-live and handshake event. Fans of the group can also meet them at a photo session being held at Azabujuunan’s Asanuno VA Studio on the 25th.
