On November 20th, idol group PASSPO☆ held a release event for their first official book & calendar.
Wearing a cabin attendant-style swim suit, the members appeared at the event shouting, “Attention please!“. Captain Negishi Ai enthusiastically commented, “In 2011, we made our debut and had many people come to know us. So next year, we want people to know our names one-by-one, and hold a concert on a big stage with a full house. Our goal is Nippon Budokan!”
The official book and calendar was shot in Okinawa, and features the members in swim wear for the first time. Okunaka Makoto reflected on their photo shoots saying, “We were in high spirits seeing each other in swim suits,” while Sakuma Kaho promoted their new products with, “You can see our mature expressions, so that gap is the highlight.” Meanwhile, Masui Mio stated, “Wearing a swim suit was embarrassing, but I want many people to look at it.”
The members also shared that their relationship with each other grew during their trip to Okinawa. Tamai Anna revealed, “I think we were able to show sides we usually don’t because everyone was having fun. Mako-chan (Okunaka) made funny faces, so it was like a family vacation.”
